Battle Against a True Alicorn

My first ever attempt at making a cross-platform game.

Derpy's Story

Derpy's Story is a tribute to the latest iteration of My Little Pony cartoon.
The goal is to guide Derpy through a dark forest by controlling the floating bubbles.

It took me around 8 months to make the whole game and then other month to work in the music and voice samples produced by few other people.

Graal

Graal Online (www.graalonline.com) is a game best described as Zelda (the SNES version) with online multiplayer. One of the biggest features of Graal was its level editor with surprisingly powerful scripting language bultt-in. At first the game was free and focused an simple fun and exploration, however after becoming quite popular Graal has moved to subscription based business model and started anew with 'adult' look, that ultimately almost killed it.
Currently Graal seems to be trying to go back to it's roots. Even has a Facebook app based on the classic version: Graal Classic.
In the time when Graal was still free, RPGMaker was at its peak and Flash started to become popular, I've decided to stick with Graal's level editor and made two games based on its engine:

Another Chance: graal_chance.zip. My first ever try with "role-playing" type of game. Interestingly enough turned based combat was actually created with scripting - the engine itself did not support anything like that.

Azumanga Journey: graal_journey.zip. Based on Azumanga Daioh anime. Unaware of the incoming changes I started this project just before Graal stopped being free, so I had to abandon it shortly after. At this point, as there was no other choice, I've switched to Flash...

Kamineko 2

As my time on the university pjwstk.edu.pl was coming to an end I had to decide on a topic for my thesis. I went ahead with "Widely available multi-player video game in Flash technology", which basically means "MMORPG in Flash". One of the biggest key feature of 'Kamineko 2' is ability (of every player) to make custom maps without any kind of limits.
After completing the basic framework and defending my thesis I was hired by thirtyfingers.com to work on very similar project.

'Kamineko 2' website is still up and available at: 4as.cba.pl but the game servers are not, so I guess there is no reason to go there. Unless anyone is willing to host them: kami2_servers.zip (they require Java)

Turret

First game I ever created - I spent one day on it in 2005 and never returned to it afterwards. I probably should do something serious with it considering how popular the "tower defense" games are lately.

Just Shotem

In 2006 I've decided to make a simple top-down shooting game in just a week (a challenge to myself if you will). Everything was going well until my hard drive crashed... I've lost everything except for one of the compiled swf files I've moved to a different location for testing purposes.

Platformer 3D

I think the title says it all.
'Platformer 3D' is a project I always wanted to finish, but I just never managed to nail down the sorting algorithm and after many tries I simply run out of ideas.
Considering how simple the engine is (consists only of boxes + no rotation whatsoever), I'm sure there is an easy way to do it. Example game (arrow keys to move) :

Neko Mortus

One of the TKFB members, JarasM (jarasm.pl) seeing my work on Kamineko, contacted me in 2007 to make a similar game. In the end however he didn't have enough time and the project was stopped right after creating first few maps. Since I didn't want that work to go to waste I've moved those maps into Kamineko as hidden/bonus content.

Print Fighter 4

As a part of ad campaign in 2010 for blackpoint.pl I was asked (through thirtyfingers.com) to create a simple fighting game and also make provided Flash website interactive.

Since the ad campaign is already over 'Print Fighter 4' can only be played in demo mode (as full version requires registration on website that doesn't exist anymore). Furthermore it's only available in Polish language.
Instructions: On log-in screen press "DEMO", then pick one out of the three specials moves.
Controls: Use arrow keys to move and CTRL key to block. Pressing arrow keys while blocking will unleash one out of the four moves.
(might need a moment to load up).

Communication

'Communication' was created for 'Serious Games' contest on whosegame.com in 2009.
The game tells a story of two people: a disabled men realizing his dream of traveling around the world and elderly woman helping her granddaughter recover from accident.
I created 'Communication' with help of my friend (who also helped me with 'TKFB The Game') in around 2 weeks because of the contest's time limit.

The game can be played on: newgrounds.com
